 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

01What are the hours of operation?

 

7am to 7pm. However, a booking provides access to the building for 24 hours of the day you have booked. If you plan to access outside our hours of operation, please let us know via email.

02How do I access the building?

 

Once you have completed and paid for your booking, you will be sent access details via the email address you used for the booking.

03Where do I park?

 

Parking is free, so you park at your convenience either on Main Street or George Street. We are located near a newsagent that has a steady stream of customers, so we would encourage you to avoid parking front and centre to their premise. We like to ensure our residents have easy access to all the facilities in town, and getting the daily paper is a priority for many.

03Is there a Facility Manager onsite?

 

Not always, but you can always email or call if you have any issues.

04If I just want the desk or room for an hour, can I book for an hour?

 

Yes! Our boardroom is available for a minimum booking of one hour, up to one day. All other workspaces are available for a daily booking as a minimum.

05Can I book an individual desk in the open plan workspace for more than a day?

 

Yes, our booking system allows you to make as many bookings as you need. If you prefer to work at the same desk each day, then please get in touch and we can make that happen.

06Can I cancel my booking?

 

Yes, for bookings in the open plan work space, the boardroom, and The Common Room, you must provide 24 hours’ written notice to cancel or reschedule a booking otherwise the full Licence Fee will apply.

 

07What are my responsibilities when using the space?

 

Be professional, courteous, and compliant with legislative requirements of operating a business.

Comply with any of our policies or code of conduct.

Do not use the facilities for any unlawful or improper purpose.

When you complete a booking, you are required to review and agree to the terms and conditions, along with any other references emailed to you at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to review these references as they have been developed to ensure you are brief on our requirements under the booking licence.

08Can I let anyone else in whilst I am there?

 

You are not permitted to provide access to the building to anyone unless their attendance is connected to the purpose of your booking.

09Safety and Security

 

The Building is not open to the public and access to the building must remained locked at all times, unless prior permission has been granted.

10If I can’t make my booking, but I have a friend who can – can I just give them the booking?

 

All bookings require agreement with our terms and conditions, so you must notify us if you intend on doing so.

11Facilities

 

A booking at The Collective includes the shared use of the kitchen, restrooms (including shower facilities), break-out spaces, wi-fi access and other equipment that may become available from time to time.

The kitchen has been designed to meet the needs of you whether you want somewhere to keep or prepare your lunch or cater for an event. Access to the kitchen facilities does not include plates, cutlery, or glassware for catering purposes.

12Can I access the kitchen and bathroom if there is a booking in The Common Room?

 

Where The Common Room is in use, the kitchen will be temporarily unavailable. We will let you know when a booking is made so you can alternative arrangements. Access to restrooms must be made via George Street.

13Wi-fi

 

We will use our best endeavours to ensure wi-fi access is available for your booking, however we do not guarantee that wi-fi access will be available nor appropriate for your exact purposes. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

14Use of the Building

 

You must only use the building for the permitted use specified at the time of booking. You must comply with all rules and directions given by us in relation to the occupation or use of the building and its facilities.

You must not paint, install any equipment or fittings, or erect any signs on any part of the building without the prior written consent from us. We may grant or withhold at our sole discretion.

15COVID-safe plan

 

We have a COVID-safe plan, compliance is mandatory. If you require a copy, please email us.

16Is it noisy in the open plan workspace?

 

The open plan desk area is a low volume noise area, so any phone calls or lengthy discussions should occur in other areas of the building.

17Confidentiality

 

We have designed the workspace to ensure confidentiality. Businesses will be operating in varying capacities; therefore, it is likely clients will be onsite to attend a meeting. Anyone onsite must not disclose any confidential information to anyone without prior written consent of the disclosing party. This includes disclosing clients to a third party. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of a booking.

18Individual Offices

 

Individual offices are covered by a specific license agreement for a six-month period. Any questions about these offices need to be directed to info@thecollectivegrenfell.com.au
